PRODUCTION
Work now underway for the new Farm Frites Australia Production Facility at Dooen, located 10km north of Horsham in Victoria’s Wimmera region.

Horsham sits in central western Victoria – a flat, relatively dry farming area that’s not ideal for growing potatoes but is perfectly positioned between key potato-growing districts to the south, south east, west, and north. Its location on the Western Highway, supported by an excellent road and rail network, is a real advantage.
Our building contractor, Vaughan Constructions, is confidently tracking toward the planned completion date of February 2027. We’ll continue to keep you updated as the project progresses.
PEOPLE

When you’re establishing a new potato production facility, probably the most important part of the entire project is securing a reliable supply of top-quality potatoes. That’s where our Potato Sourcing Manager, Daniel Grayling, comes in. With a background from Dookie Agricultural College and unmatched experience in potato production, Daniel's expertise makes him the perfect person for the job. He’s particularly skilled in seed potato development – a critical foundation of the whole process.
Daniel’s strong industry contacts and trusted relationships are a credit to his professionalism and are key to shaping a successful potato supply program. As you can see from these photos, he’s happiest out in the field working side-by-side with growers — not stuck behind a desk, exactly how we like it.
CUSTOMERS
We’re thrilled to announce that Farm Frites is now the official supplier of French Fries at the iconic Adelaide Oval.
From Friday, 20 March 2026, fans attending:
AFL matches hosted by the Adelaide Crows or Port Adelaide, and/or
Cricket fixtures hosted by Adelaide Strikers, South Australia, or Australia
will be able to dig into our delicious Farm Frites fries while cheering on their favourite teams.
We’re proud to bring our golden, crunchy goodness to one of Australia’s most-loved sporting venues

POTATOES
Our Australian production will be based on the Innovator potato – a variety recognised globally as one of the best for producing consistently high-quality French Fries. The Innovator is a favourite among major processors and QSR (quick service restaurant) chains worldwide. It’s prized for its high dry matter, long, uniform tubers, and exceptional fry performance. Our best-selling Crispy Coated Fries are made using Innovator potatoes, delivering the flavour and texture our customers love.
Right now, our Innovator seed potatoes are thriving in Victorian soil, and the crop is looking fantastic. In future updates, we’ll share news on the other potato varieties joining our Australian production lineup.
PRODUCT
One of the latest additions to the Farm Frites range is our Patata Brava – a 20 mm diced, par-fried product that’s proving to be incredibly versatile. It works beautifully as a main-meal side, offering a tasty alternative to roast potatoes, and just as well as a bite-sized base for loaded fries. That versatility is a real bonus for chefs and foodservice teams alike.
Farm Frites Australia’s Head of Culinary, Geoff Meade, has been busy creating loads of delicious serving ideas. The standouts:

Butter Chicken on Patato Brava with naan bread –
tastes delicious!

A drizzle of yoghurt over Patata Brava –
looks fantastic!
PROMOTION

Demonstrating our fries to distributor depots is a brilliant way to showcase what makes our products stand out. We rolled out a Farm Frites food van at Campbell’s Cash & Carry in Canning Vale, WA.
It was a huge hit with the team and helped build more support and enthusiasm for the Farm Frites range.

Another milestone for Farm Frites was our sponsorship of the Horsham Cup Race Meeting, our very first!
It was a fantastic day, and we took the chance to catch up with some of our local customers in the Giddy Up Marquee. No one had much luck on the punt, but there were plenty of laughs and a strong sense of community – exactly what we're all about.

INTERNATIONAL
The birthplace of Farm Frites is Oudenhoorn, in The Netherlands. The production facility there was built on the site of the original De Bruijn family potato farm, where the Farm Frites story first began.
Today, this state‑of‑the‑art facility can produce up to 40 tonnes of premium fries per hour – a remarkable leap from the humble hand‑cut operation that started it all back in the 1970s.
